This hotel perfectly suits my needs with free wi-fi, a relaxing bar, and a fitness center. The staff were really good during my first visit, helping my elderly parents. I highly recommend staying here for a great experience.

Overall my stay was excellent and will definitely visit place next time. The breakfast was sensational, there was a lot of food to chose from. The staff was exceptional and amazingly nice, everything was brand-new. The location of the hotel was stunning, close to airport. I tried some drinks at soup reastaurant Union Oyster House, located 15 minutes walk away.

Hotel and Valet staff very friendly, helpful and accomodating.
They could improve on their choice of bath soap (didn't lather very well). Tv / Remote dated. No pen and paper in the room to use. The advertised Wi-Fi availability, making it sound as if it was hotel wide..when in fact it was only availble in the lobby and restaurant!

The room was super clean and cozy, with great L'Occitane toiletries. I loved the proximity to attractions and the smartly designed space in the room.

On arrival our room was absolutely filthy and run down. for example. Blood stained bedding, soiled carpets, furniture damaged and sub standard, bathroom tiles and shower area covered in mould. bathroom sink surround cracked, windows filthy. After complaining we were relocated to another room which was basically of the same standard. The room was also dirty and run down. Bed bugs appeared to be present as both myself and partner had numerous insect bites each morning. Damaged walls had temporary repairs which had been filled but unpainted. Sliding bathroom door would not lock. No storage space, poor lighting and dangerous which resulted in partner tripping and splitting lip. We looked into changing hotel but unfortunately all hotels in the surrounding area were fully booked. With no other option we had to endure 4 nights in this sad excuse for a hotel. The Hotel was of such poor quality it completely ruined my stay in Boston. I am happy to provide picture of the above problems and would welcome a response.

The location was excellent
The room we stayed did NOT have any fire escape sketch. This alone is enough for a "never again" judgment. It was a small room with unsufficient equipment. Historical building from the outside - no charm whatsoever on the inside. The personnel at the reception is not trained as they should. They could only offer a continental breakfast.

We stayed in an executive room on the 7th floor which was very spacious and comfortable. The room and bathroom were both very clean throughout our trip. The location was excellent for walking to the Common, Little Italy and across the bridge to Cambridge. One night we dined at the tapas bar on the ground floor where the food and service were both very good. We were there just before Hurricane Sandy hit and the reception staff kindly let us phone our airline from their telephone. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
There was no safe in the room. On two days we had breakfast in the ground floor tapas bar; it was excellent on the first day but on the second the service left a lot to be desired. After that we ate elsewhere.

We loved everything at the Bulfinch Hotel. My 3 years stills talks about his trip to Boston. He and I really enjoyed the energy the Hotel Manager (Mr. Joseph) and Staff gave us. The room was just enough space for us and it was inviting/ comfortable- We Really enjoyed our stay..

Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was excellent. Beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were large and spacious. Unlike one review I read, there was lots of hot water in the morning for a shower.
No luggage racks in rooms. No morning newspaper available either at room door or available for purchase in lobby. Had to go around the corner to the Seven Eleven to buy a paper.

The Bulfinch Hotel was absolutely awesome! It was very clean and the ladies at the front desk were great! I would definitely stay here again! Staying in the Executive King Suite was pricey but worth it. The view was beautiful!!
